Aljo History
|
Aljoa Industries trailers started in the 1940's through the 1960's with that
classic canned ham look. The trailers of this era are all single-axle units.
For a period of time, the company used the name "Aljoa". Rumor has it that the
company was sued by aluminum giant Alcoa since the trailers had aluminum siding and the
names were very close. The "a" was dropped and the brand was just "Aljo".
The trailers from the 1970's and newer are much more like traditional travel trailers.
Today, Aljo trailers are manufactured by Skyline Corporation.
