1971 Revcon 250 Motorhome Exhibit "B"

1971 Revcon Motorhome 250 (B)
1971 Revcon 250 25' Motorhome

Aluminum monocoque aircraft construction.

The engine is an Oldmobile Toronado 455, front wheel drive with an extended chassy. It has many new parts - water heater, propane valves, fuel line, choke, all fixed as needed. Tires and brakes have only 300 miles on them.

This motorhome has all the optional upgrades including a Kohler generator and huge awning, added lights, mirrors, gauges, booters, quad 8 track sound system, CB radio, and many more. The original teak wood trim is in good shape. Also many aftermarket additions.

The original owner loved this Revcon. It has 104k miles on it and comes with a detailed trip log of where it has been, when and what has been done to it along the way. Also has original manuals and many and other extras. Drawers and closets full of parts for this vehicle for on the road quick fixes. Has two antennas, one for use when stationary.

Just came back from San Diego on the 15 frwy. Runs well, great engine. Nice, clean kitchen with fridge, oven and stove - ample size. Air conditioning works great! Full rear bath room, two room dividers, lots of storage and closet space. Sleeps 4 or more really good friends....

A piece of history: "Revcon" is short for "REVolutionary CONstruction" Motorcoach. Engineered by John Hall, the stepson of Airstream founder Wally Byam the Revcon bears resemblance to the Airstream. John knew that the all aluminum construction was far superior to anything else being built at the time. The entire shell is aluminum framing, with aluminum sheets riveted to the inside and outside. The walls and roof were built this way, with no seams in the roof to leak. He switched to front wheel drive to get the low center of gravity needed for the superb handling and aerodynamics.

The Revcon was the 'space age' vehicle shown in the movie ET.

Location: Temecula, CA
