Chinook History

Chinook made a wide variety of recreational vehicles throughout their history. The most prominent are
the class-B and class-C
recreational vehicles. Chinook dates back to the late 1930's as a family run business making truck campers
and travel trailers. There was also a small run of class-A motorhomes.
No units were produced from 1981 to 1985. Chinook resumed production in 1986 through 2005.
In 2013, the intellectual property rights to the Chinook line was purchased with the expectation that
the line of RVs might make a come-back.
