1957 Yellowstone 22' Travel Trailer Exhibit "A"

1957 Yellowstone Trailer 22' (A)
1957 Yellowstone 22' Travel Trailer

Camper is 95% restored. It has a new sub floor and new flooring, all new walls and ceiling in bathroom. All new plumbing with original fixtures restored. New 50 Amp electrical service. New portable room A/C installed in rear bedroom corner. All original cabinets and hardware. Replaced bad ceiling and wall paneling where needed and applied fresh shellac. Complete commercial roof system applied. It has a small refrigerator and NO stove. We use a hot plate. Needs permanent trailer light hookups and the under carriage could be cleaned and undercoated. This is a Park Model, no holding tanks. The Aluminum is not anodized, so the body can be buffed to a 'mirror' shine. It is registered in the state of Alabama with a 'bill of sale'. There was no title and the state allows the 'bill of sale'. Not sure if there ever was a title for these year vehicles???

Great camper with lots of 'Character' We restored it to as close to the 'original' condition using as much of the existing trailer parts and fixtures. It will draw looks and complements wherever you go. Its rare to see these beauties out camping but we did just that and had a blast!!! We haven't done anything with the exterior of the trailer. We like the rough exterior look and the surprise people get when the see the inside!!! It is not anodized aluminum, so it can be polished to a mirror shine!!!! Everything inside works. There are 2 bunk beds large enough for adults in the rear and a futon in the front/couch that folds into a small bed large enough for 2 children. This is a park model, so no holding tanks for waste but there is a small holding tank for fresh water under the rear bunk. It is not hooked up and is original, so would probably need to be changed out. We just hook up to the service at the campground. The bathroom has a tub and shower and sink--another rare feature!!! We didn't have a stove and decided to put a small fridge in its place and use a 'hotplate' to cook or heat up things we brought. (we want to have fun, not work). It is approximately 4500 lbs and we tow it with my 6 cyl F150 truck.

Location: Houma, Louisiana
