1985 Avion 30P Travel Trailer
This is our 1985 Avion 30-P "REMEMBER WHEN" which we have owned for 3 years. The original front interior has been redone in a nostalgic 1950's diner / Coke-Cola theme, hence the name. The trailer is 30 ft. long including the hitch. Actual usable length is 27 ft. We are selling this because we are about to purchase a classic motor home.
Due to our work schedules and some health concerns, we never actually got to take this unit on the road, except for short local trips for annual safety inspections. The Avion always passed these NYS-DMV inspections, and tag is current for 2007.
The interior is redone, and tires are new Marathons with zero miles. Mattresses, pillows, and all bedding linens are BRAND NEW and never used. The cupboards contain never used "Coke" dishes and glasses, plus new flatware. There is a 1957 pay phone which is wired in to be usable when parked with phone service. Table is custom made with original "Boomerang" Formica top pattern. The table adjusts for height and can be raised to provide service bar. The included digital jukebox is preloaded with 100 classic 50's & 60's hits. All manuals and an extensive collection of ALL appliance instruction pamphlets is also included.
All windows and vents operate as designed. Awnings are all new Zip-Dee original factory replacements. The original black & white awnings were OK, just "tired". You'll surely admit the new ones really set the trailer off nicely.
The LIGHTING in this trailer is amazing. I used automotive neon and LED tubes to light up the inside of this unit like being inside an old Wurlitzer Juke Box. The light can be set to dozens of patterns, including pulsing with the sound system. The photos here give some idea, but email me and I'll send you some short video clips which really show it! This is a HEAD TURNER!
To the best of my knowledge, everything on this coach works as it should. Air conditioner and fridge are recent replacements and work great. Furnace keeps the coach warm on coldest days. Propane tanks are full and 12v battery is recent. 120/12v inverter works properly. I never used the toilet or water. It remains as drained / winterized by previous owner.
