2008 Airstream BaseCamp Travel Trailer
This streamlined trailer is a springboard for outdoor adventures, not a living room on wheels.
BaseCamp pays homage to Airstream's past, taking styling cues from Airstream founder Wally
Byam's original 1935 Torpedo. Modern-looking and sleek, BaseCamp is so light you almost won't
know you're towing it. With an added bonus of functionality, BaseCamp also provides room to
carry your "toys" with you…motorcycles, mountain bikes, cycles, ATV, kayaks, rafts, skis, and
more. The Basecamp is roomy enough to sleep two - wrap around windows and skylight
increases spaciousness and visibility. BaseCamp: Airstream's new vision.
Purchased in 2011, we have enjoyed lots of fun and adventure in the Airstream BaseCamp. It
has been the perfect solution to enjoying the outdoors with a nice bit of luxury. We have used the
Basecamp lightly, only taking it out about twice a year. Not only is it in great condition, but also
the envy of everyone in the campground!
