1953 Airstream Flying Cloud 21' Travel Trailer
This Vintage 21.5' Airstream Flying Cloud is a very original example, ready for restoration. Skin is remarkably straight!
I planned to restore it, but instead we bought the Airstream motorhome of our dreams, so ALL our other Airstreams are going
on the market, including this 1953 Flying Cloud. This trailer is very original, except the old guy who used to live in it in
a SoCal RV park put an RV toilet in the back between the twin beds. I have the two-drawer cabinet that goes where the toilet
sits -- I planned to restore it to original, i.e., without a bathroom. It has the original Norge stove and Marvel fridge
(alas, inop.) and water tank and propane light. It is the most original unrestored old Airstream I have seen, a perfect
starting place for a beautiful restoration. Another neat thing this trailer has that is rarely seen is a bunk bed that
runs crosswise at the back of the trailer, up above the twin beds. Or it could be used as a shelf, for storage. It comes
with the two original propane tanks, also two OPD tanks if you like. This trailer has a black California license plate,
and current registration, just renewed. Wheel bearings are newly packed, and it has tubeless tires. I still have the original
split rims. Also, a set of new Harbor Freight tail lights goes with it.
