1976 Travco 270 Motorhome
1976 Dodge Travco RV for sale. If you are reading this, you probably know the history and the mystique of these motor homes. We purchased this roughly 4 months ago in WV from the original owner.
I will do my best to describe what I know about this RV.
Travco 440 with 60,841 original miles. CLEAR TITLE
The guy we bought this from used it once a year to drive from WV to AZ in the winter. He was forced to sell after being diagnosed with cancer. He informed me he replaced everything engine and brake wise every year before he used it.
We used it once to put up some workers at a KOA campground. It has been siting at our shop and been tested and passed by the Fire Marshall. (smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector)
This vintage gem is all original inside. The couch on left flips up to make a bunk bed, the table makes into a bed and there is a bed in the back as well. Bathroom has a stand up shower, commode and vanity. Great fridge and sink as well as oven with cook top. All works to my knowledge.
These tires are showing less than 10k miles in wear, tires alone on this are worth roughly $1700.
Our mechanic has recently put in all new plugs, wires and electric choke. Clean & set carburetor.
This 'classic' is just looking for a little TLC and would also make a great restoration project.
