1966 Streamline Travel Home Motorhome
The VIN plate reads 1966 but the title says it is a 1968. According to the research i did,
my understanding is that it was built in 66 but not sold (and titled) until 68. Also,I believe
this may have been the only one built with a full basement. Only 80 were made and this is #43.
The mileage is unknown. I was told that the motor had been replaced with a Ford 391. It does run
and drive. It currently needs a fuel pump. Can hear it run but have to pour gas in the carb.
The gentleman I purchased it from drove it back and forth from Ohio to Tennessee up until 2 years
ago. It does need brake work and would need to be towed. It has no major dents or damage to the
exterior aluminum skin. The basement floors will probably need replaced.I was told that the A/C
works good but I have not tested ANY of the systems. It has a newer fridge,
no stove and the generator has been removed. The interior has been painted and a laminate plank
floor has been started. I did notice a small roof leak during the last rain coming from roof vent.
Also has evidence of leaks in back area but doesn't seem to be leaking now. It has gold
and white striped awnings that are not ripped but are stained.
