1973 Rectrans Discoverer Motorhome
Ultra Rare 1973 Rectrans Discoverer 25 Motorhome.
You are looking at a very cool looking/unique 1973 Rectrans Discoverer 25 Class A motorhome. 1875 of these made,
very few still on the road. This Discoverer is 100% original, you will not find one all original like this one
anywhere on the planet! I spent $2400 in 2009 to ship her from its original home/garage in North Dakaota!
Designed by Larry Shinoda in the early 70s by the same master who designed the 1968 Mako Shark Corvette & 1970
Powered by a Chrysler 413 big block with Loadflite transmission, on a M300 Chrysler chassis. 96K miles, I
am the second owner. I have all the original paperwork & service log since new! Tells you when and what was done
for its entire life. The front spare tire mounted to the front of the motorhome is not its original location,
it belongs on the rear trunk, the original owner placed it there & its looks stupid, it completely takes away
from the motorhomes space shuttle design, I have not gotten around to removing it from this ridiculous location.
Inside has beds for 5 people, dining table, kitchen, bathroom and shower. Shower and water heater work perfectly.
Stove top and oven work perfectly and again, yes we use them. Furnace and roof A/C work. Sink and plumbing is
all in running condition. Refrigerator and freezer are LP or electric and work perfect on either. Up front the
"cockpit" is in very good shape & fells like cruising in the space shuttle! A must for your Mopar, Dodge,
