1976 FMC 2900R Motorhome
1976 FMC 2900R; 1/2 of conversion (the hard part) is done.
FMC Motor Coach, classic 29 foot, rear Chrysler 440 c. i. Industrial V-8 gasoline engine pusher,
Allison tranny, interior clean and in great condition. Clear title.
This unit is an approximately half done conversion from a public bus from Longmont, Colorado. It is
located in Fort Collins, CO. All HVAC and new oak cabinetry interior done by retired experts. Interior
restoration completely plumbed and wired and ready for your choice of appliances. Destined to be a
classic party cruiser or a family's home on the road, she's almost ready to roll and just needs some
more love and your decorator choices to finish in style.
Exterior is all fiberglass over steel frame. Customize your colors with a new gel coat finish and
enter the ranks of the FMC owners club. These RVs are very few and a worthy investment, sought
after for durability and collectable vintage image. Join the circle of former owners Clint Eastwood,
Mario Andretti, Charles Kuralt. Unfortunately, family health concerns will end this project for us.
You will get to finish with your own design taste and new kitchen utilities. The shower needs a new
stall wrap but has plumbing done. All tires are old but still hold air. Master brake cylinder is new.
It was driven 10 miles last year but I would not advise taking it much further without a spare tire
and a burning desire for a slow speed road trip adventure to get you home.
* When this unit was for sale in March of 2016, it had an asking price of $6,000.*
