1979 Avion (Fleetwood) 38' Motorhome
Two were built for the executives at Fleetwood. Before I called Fleetwood about this motor home this motorhome was just a rumor with them,
nobody had ever seen it or pictures of it. After sending pictures and talking with them it was discovered how rare this motor home is.
All blue prints and Avions records of the building it are included.
It was in a dark and dry storage for ten years. We pulled it out of storage, installed fuel injection on the engine and got it running
very good. We installed a propane kit on the generator for the reliability and now there is no concern about the gas tarnishing or the
fuel system going bad.
It has 1 soft spot in the bathroom floor about 4" round. All cabinets are solid wood and in great shape. The interior is in wonderful
shape and all original. Floor plan has a rear bathroom, full kitchen with built in microwave. The appliances are all original and seem
to be working. It has a large frig, full size microwave, 2 AC roof units.
The exterior is all aluminum and in real good shape. There is no sign of wreck or repair. It has a dodge drive train, 440 engine and 727 transmission that run great. It has a rear floating axle that has air ride. The air system for the rear needs a air tank, the original had rust holes in it
It does need some small tlc to be perfect.
