1977 Argosy 20' Motorhome
Here are the pictures of our 1977 Arogsy 20' motorhome affectionately named "George" by the previous owners.
It was painted in 2013 using the original factory paint codes. You can see in certain pictures the yellow tint
found in the original paint code. It appears tan in bright sunlight and a tan/yellow on cloudy days. The brown is
the factory code for metallic brown. It turned out really nicely.
We had the seats reupholstered and we put in a chocolate brown shag carpet. The panels were recovered with
the flower power print (technically 'manola cafe' from JoAnns) for that 70's feel.
It has a new Onan 4.0 kwh generator installed by the local Onan shop.
I put in a new Fan-tastik fan with the Ultra-Breeze cover (painted to match the coach). It also has a
Jack HDTV antenna.
The curtains are new. They were produced by JPA Drapes.
The original Sol-Aire furnace was replaced with an Atwood Hydroflame prior to painting.
Our dinghy is a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle. It tows literally like it is not even back there!
The engine is a Chevy 454.
