1977 Argosy 24' Class A Motorhome
Just the right size for travel, parking and towing. Great Fuel economy for a Class A. Just driven on a 500 mile road trip with no
problems. Runs very strong. Previous owner had big plans to travel the country in this until he had health problems. The entire drivetrain
has been rebuilt. It is more powerful that the original engine and gets better MPG. 10-12 MPG. Rebuilt 454 engine, rebuilt tranmission and
upgraded headers as well as dual exhaust with less than 10K miles on everything. Everything was works great. The fridge has not been used on
propane for a while so may need the propane line aired out to get it going. Worked fine on electric last time. Roof AC gets very cold. Heater
gets hot. Shower, toilet, sink, Appliances etc are working fine. 30 gal fresh water tanks plus waste tanks. Cosmetically its in great shape
for the year. Only thing i would replace other than minor touch up here and there is the carpet. Mechanically it runs and drives incredible.
Straight body and is not all dented like some that you find. Does not shake or pull to one side. Rides very straight and strong, Keeps up
with traffic. Drives more like a van when its empty. Can pull just about anything with it. The generator ran excellent until the fuel pump
went out on it. It cost around $150 to replace. It was started and run when bypassing the fuel pump by the repair shop to show it was only
the fuel pump. Only has 500 hrs on it. These generators are made for thousands of hrs and this one would cost around $4000 new. If someone
purchases, i will have gen fixed. I will have the fuel pump replaced. The tires are all very high tread. Approx 90%. There are 6 tires
(duallys on back). One outside rear tire is showing some cracks from sitting in the sun. Full size good spare on the back.
