1998 Airstream Cutter Diesel Pusher 35' Motorhome
1998 Airstream Cutter Diesel Pusher with Slide! Strong Caterpillar 300HP Turbo Diesel with Allison 6 Speed Electronic Transmission. Freightliner chassis with air brakes and air assisted suspension. ALCOA aluminum wheels. Exterior is in great condition, no major dings or dents (couple of small scratches and scrapes). Sidewalls are nice and clean. Coach could use a good wax and polish to really shine. Tires are in good condition. Aluminum covered acrylic main awning along with entry door awning and 3 window awnings. Onan Quiet Diesel 7500 Generator with only 775 hours works great. Interior is also in very good condition. No odors. Solid wood cabinets and Corian countertops are all in great shape. Up front you have: swiveling leather captain’s chairs (both are power), cruise control, tilt/telescoping steering, leveling jacks, back-up camera, CB, AM/FM Stereo and 19" TV. VCR, DVD player and a crank up antenna. KINGDOME auto seek satellite antenna. In the kitchen, Corian counters, tile flooring, double sinks, Dometic fridge/freezer, 3 burner gas stove, Sharp Convection Microwave Oven, and a 6 Gallon DSI Gas Hot Water tank with automatic ignition and engine heat assist. Trace 1500 Watt inverter/charger with 4 deep cycle 12V coach batteries. Jackknife sofa folds out to a bed along with the convertible dinette and queen bed in the rear so this coach sleeps 6 comfortably. Leather swivel recliner behind passenger seat. Nice center bath with tile flooring and garden shower. Cedar lined closets with mirrored doors. Large bedroom in back with queen bed and 13” TV. Dual ducted roof A/C units, along with ducted furnace and catalytic heater. Lots of storage both inside and out. Power entry step for easy entrance. Screens and day/night shades throughout. All windows are double pane for extra insulation and noise isolation (driver’s side forward window outer pane has been removed due to ‘fogging’). All tanks are heated for cold weather use.
This ’35 Cutter Pusher Slide Out’ was the largest, most deluxe, Class A diesel motor home offered by Airstream in 1998. This coach sold for approximately $150000 when new. NADA values this RV at $35000-$42000 without any optional extras.
This coach is in very good condition overall and appears to have been very well maintained by the previous owners. Absolutely no unpleasant odors or evidence of smoking or pets.
