1995 Airstream Classic 36' Gas Motorhome
I am the third owner of this beautiful 1995 Airstream Classic 36' Motorhome, which I purchased in 2006. The current odometer reads 66,600 miles. The original 454 cubic inch V8 General Motors engine was replaced by the second owner in 2005. The new motor only has 6,000 miles on it! The vehicle is fully equipped and has been maintained in excellent condition.
Since I purchased the motorhome, I have made the following upgrades/improvements: all brakes have been rebuilt, new airbags have been installed, the front-end suspension has been completely rebuilt, and all new AGM batteries have been installed. The vehicle has been extensively serviced by a licensed Airstream dealership.
The dimensions are as follows: the exterior height with air conditioner is 10' 4", the exterior length is 36', the interior height is 6' 7", the interior width is 7' 7", the wheel base is 17' 4". The capacities are as follows: LPG tank is 80 lbs, Fresh water tank is 60 gal (60 gal), Grey water holding tank is 39 gal (40 gal), Black water holding tank is 39 gal (45 gal), the fuel tank is 80 gal. The chassis components are Gross vehicle weight rating (w/tag axle) of 18,000 lbs with a tow capacity of a 200 lbs hitch, and 2,000 lbs total. It comes equipped with a tilt steering wheel, one main and two auxiliary batteries, 105 amp alternator with heavy duty isolator, air ride, radial tires, bright wheel simulators, electric operated entrance step, trailer hitch, emergency start solenoid, cruise control, HWH computer controlled hydraulic leveling system with kick-down jacks, spare tire & wheel.
Among this motor home's features are a large patio awning, smaller awnings over every window, privacy wrap-around blackout curtains for driver compartment, leather power driver & co-pilot seats, solid oak cabinets, leather-trimmed adjustable couch/bed with storage drawers, two leather swivel chairs with end table, pleated day/night shades throughout with additional window coverings and decorative treatments, drop down/pull up dinette table and adjustable seating/bed with storage drawers, various brass lighting fixtures in main living area, Corian galley counter top with sink cover, oak kitchen pantry, planked oak galley flooring, carpeting throughout, queen size bed with bedspread & pillows, TV in bedroom, lighted cedar-lined wardrobe with mirror, shirt closets, and plenty of storage throughout. The bathroom has a lighted mirror, a Thetford toilet, a fiberglass shower stall, a skylight with shade, a roof vent, and brass fixtures.
