1991 Airstream 350 Hearse Exhibit "B"

1991 Airstream 350 Hearse

Vehicle Description
KING OF THE ROAD!!!
454 GAS - AUTOMATIC - POWER EVERYTHING.
Numbered key entry, Automatic door steps, Auto seats controls 6-way, Electric control sofas, Automatic airbag leveling

This RV was just prepared for a big trip that we did not take (for health reasons). We had it completly tested and inspected and spent over 5K in repairs, 2K in body work and a professional cleaning. It has new brakes, new tires, serviced & replaced moduals and a re-cored radiator. Oil was just changed and the transmission flushed. The only thing it is missing mechanically is a new container for the windshield fluid which can be ordered on-line.

We used it this year for 2 short camping trips (about 2k miles ea) which were lots of fun. It is self contained with a Honda Generator. The AC is two seperate roof units. For heat, this RV has a furnace that works on the propane. In the kitchen area there is a Fridge and a Freezer with an automatic Ice maker a Convection microwave, Corian counter-top and a stainless steel sink. The front power seats are also 6 way adjustable and on top of having a Z antenna it is already wired for cable and has the direct TV converter.

If I drive we get about 10 miles a gallon, but if the husband drives we can get 12-14 miles a gallon.

The RV sleeps 6 . There are 2 electric sofas in the rear of the RV that with a push of a button recline to meet in the middle and create a huge KING size bed which you are not likely to find in any but the most expensive new buses. In the very back there is also one more single mattress set up. The front sofa opens to a double sleeper and the dinette is a wide single when put into the sleeping position. The carpet is like new and is light Mauve in color. The cabinets are all a very pretty medium wood. The upholstery is in good shape and is of a neutral (Taupe) color as are the mini blinds. The captain seats have real sheep skin ($100 ea.) covers on as the original front seat upholstery could be redone.

If you look up the NADA guide lines http://nadaguides.com/ for pricing this unit with only 31K original miles it gives you a figure in between $40K and $50K. Do to the fact that it does not include a shower, we lowered the price, even though it is more of a collectors item as very few of this particular RVs were built. WE HAVE FREE AND CLEAR TITLE.

This unit is not standard. We bought this RV from a couple with 5 children who owned a funeral home but used this unit for their personal travel. This RV was originally designed to transport families to remote cemeteries in luxury. It therefor has tons of storage as you can see from the pictures and no shower (though there is plenty of room to add one, even a hot-tub :).
Location: Largo, Florida

NOTE FROM FRED:(1) Don't buy the 10+ miles per gallon. These units get 6-10. 10 miles per gallon is rare. (2) The NADA price is for a Class A motorhome NOT a funeral coach. Apples and Oranges.
