1991 Airstream 350 Hearse Exhibit "A"

1991 Airstream 350 Hearse (Funeral Coach)

35 feet in length - only 29,774 original miles
If you would like to own a unique motorhome, this unit may be for you! This special motorcoach is one of only 80 like it that were built between 1980 and 1992. Actually the funeral director that first bought it went back to the Airstream factory and ordered a number of special features enhancing this coach for travel. This Airstream was originally built as a Family Funeral Coach with lots of storage available. The design of this coach makes it ideal for camping with lots of camping equipment, or for pets with their own compartment. The original owner was a funeral home director in Illinois, and used the coach primarily for camping trips to Canada. We are the second owner Warren B. Roland -Funeral Director. Storage consists of a cargo area that measures: 74 deep X 211 high X 32 wide with outside accessory doors on both ends, and a door to the inside coach area. This coach also has great storage area in the back that is 64 deep X 63 high X 74 wide, except for a portion taken by the other storage area mentioned above. This area is accessible from either the inside of the coach or through the hatchback door in the rear. The rear door opening is 51" tall and 41" wide. Something 71" long could possibly fit in the door at an angle.

There is abundant storage in the oak cabinets located above the beds and other areas of the coach. With only 29,774 original miles, the Chevy 454 engine, automatic transmission, and tandem axels have very little wear. The Michelyn tires are in very good condition with over 1/2" of tread.

This unit is fully self-contained with 3 motorized couch/beds which sleeps 4 very comfortably, and more room is available with a little imagination.

Appliances include a small 9 Audiovox color TV located in the front, a GE VCR, AM/FM Stereo, RCA direct TV box, a built-in Magic Chef Microwave, Dometic propane/electric Refrigerator, and Freezer with automatic ice maker. Two air conditioning units are located on the top for coolness in the summer and 3 heat sources are available for days and nights that are colder. Fresh water hookups are available, along with fresh and gray water holding tanks.

This unit has a bathroom with a toilet and small single stainless steel sink with a one handle faucet on it. There is storage in the oak cabinet beneath the sink and mirror/cabinet above the sink. There are no shower or tub facilities. The bathroom is located in the middle of the coach. There is no cooktop or range oven, however, there is a built in microwave oven. The motorhome has a Honda generator.

Some items needing attention are: fabric for the 2 Captain chairs, water container for the right side windshield washer unit, and body work on rear of the coach from when it was accidently backed into a garage. Damage consists of dents above the rear hatchback door, to a right rear panel, and to the right rear bumper of the motorhome. The Honda generator may need some repair as we have not used it for awhile.

Location: Atlantic, IA
