1985 Airstream 345 Classic Motorhome
Mechanically sound, road-worthy vintage Classic ready for the finishing touches.
This model has a rear corner double bed with two swivel chairs in the lounge. Cabinets and trim
are hickory. Two 13,500 BTU roof airs with heat strips.
Chevy 454 with Banks PowerPack and custom exhaust - fires right up and runs cool. This unit is
set up to tow with a Reese hitch and 6-wire plug.
Last major cruise: 2014 WBCCI International Rally, roundtrip NJ to WY.
Here’s what we’ve done since purchasing in 2006:
Replaced radiator and added super fan in 2013.
Re-upholstered pilot and co-pilot seats; 6-way seat controls work on both seats.
Re-upholstered swivel barrel chairs and dinette cushions.
All new (2013) upholstery is restaurant/hospital grade Spradling vinyl - wipes clean with damp cloth!
Replaced Kohler 7kWgenerator with new Cummins Onan 7kW generator in 2012. Yes, it can
run both roof air conditioners at the same time!
9 Michelin tires manufactured week 5 of 2007, 6 on Alcoa aluminum wheels. Centramatic
automatic wheel balancers. SmartTire TPMS.
Installed re-built Keeler main door lock in 2015.
Snap-on windshield/cab windows sunshade and tire sunshades.
Replaced engine temperature sensor and gauge.
Added transmission cooler and transmission temperature gauge.
Replaced front air bags, pressure gauge and fill switch. Replaced rear air compressor.
Added LED brake lights and turn signal lights.
Kwikee electric steps with cut-off switch.
Replaced trailer hitch with new Reese 5,000 lb. hitch and added 6-pin connection for Blue Ox
tow system.
Marine electric horns.
Added new back-up lights and back-up alarm.
Hella fog lights.
ZipDee awnings on all R.S. windows and C.S. bedroom windows.
Genturi with custom installation.
2 Fantastic Fans with rain sensors.
Replaced dash air conditioner compressor. Yes, the dash air works!
Replaced radio with new AM/FM/cassette and new multi-disk CD changer with remote.
Replaced water pump.
Replaced fire extinguisher with large CO2 unit. Installed new smoke and CO alarms.
Installed new aluminum mini-blinds and lined drapes, by J.P.A. Drapes, throughout.
Installed new switch and control knobs on NuTone Food Center. Yes, the NuTone works! Has
many attachments, including blender, mixer and ice crusher.
Replaced microwave with new stainless steel GE.
Replaced all batteries. Replaced isolator. Added whole-house surge protection.
Replaced front furnace.
