1982 Airstream Classic 280 Turbo Diesel Motorhome
"Silvie" drives great. Very solid, straight with little effort to control even in heavy traffic. Very comfortable seats with
little fatigue….she prefers to go 55-60 MPH. The exterior of Silvie is pretty good, except the wood grain stickers are peeling.
The body was polished many years ago and still looks good. The gray area along the bottom has some rough areas and the paint
on the spare tire cover is faded. Some corrosion around the wheel wells. The dash air doesn't work. We discovered that running
the coach AC on the propane generator while driving was sufficient for cooling so we did not repair the dash air.
