Vintage 1970 Shasta mini-motorhome. On a Ford Econoline chassis, rare one of only a few
factory Shasta class-C motorhomes made. Approximately 18ft long, roughly the same length
as a long bed pickup. 302 v8 with automatic transmission. Around 87xxx original miles,
bought from a tow yard so it has a salvage title, currently registered and driveable.
I would feel comfortable driving it to LA no problem. Recently redone brakes all the
way around, engine tune up. Fuel gauge reads slightly off empty at 1/4 tank on gauge.
Now for the camper part of the unit. The camper needs full restoration, worst part is one
panel of skin that will need to be replaced. (See pictures) Most the kitchen was removed
except for stove and upper cabinets, floor is 100% solid there are two holes where plumbing
and drainage use to go through for sink, has small wet bath, toilet was removed, dinette
and slide out couch in the rear, kitchen area across from bathroom in the middle and bed
over cab. Someone replaced wood rot near front door. This camper has had several bad
repairs from previous owners as seen in the pictures some access doors on the side
filled with plywood, door handle missing, latched from inside. Camper was sold as is.
This is a very unique and cool camper but it is a project. It's semi-usable as it sits but
mainly as a large hard sided tent with a propane stove.
