RARE 1947 Flxible bus , first custom built in 1966, removed from operating bus service then.....roof raised a foot,
reskinned using hand bucked rivets like factory (only one known with a raised roof like this), repowered with a GMC
gas 478M ci V6 (about 15,000 miles on total engine rebuild by R & L engines Dover NH..known for performance engines),
Allison 6 speed auto, maxi brakes, air brakes, Alcoas, and radials.
Sleeps 4-6, kitchenette w/dinette, stove, refrig and sink, bath w/ shower, commode and sink, gas furnace, self contained.
Rear gaucho couch converts to full bed and 2 L shape couches convert to 2 beds, all professionally built..walnut
interior, non-smoker
Big 6500 W Kohler genset 110v power, twin roof (cold) airs, much more...
The unit has won numerous awards, best of shows, on the speed channel, Jay Leno's Garage, NSRA pick Burlington VT., more...
