1955 Silver Streak 19' Travel Trailer
This very rare 1955 Silver Streak is in amazing condition for its age. It has been sitting at the lake under a tin roof most of its life with one family owner and it shows. The construction is similar to the Airstream of its era with a total length of 19 ft. from the bumper to the hitch.
Factory weight listed as 2400 lbs. and hitch weight of 180 lbs. They used the advertising slogan "Lightest weight trailer of its size on the road". This trailer is full of original stuff in great condition. Check the light shades, or how about the wall paint. . ..factory and it still shines. This great exterior body style has only very minor blemishes and would polish to a mirror sheen. Check out the Dixie stove. . .new port potty and mattress, and working unoriginal fridge.
The front dinette still folds down into a bed and the nylon frize' material could be used featuring just the right amount of patina. Excellent original, slight patina describes this trailer.
