1967 Airstream Overlander 26' Travel Trailer
1967 Airstream Overlander 26ft This concept conversion is a new direction in 'Airstream
Lifestyle' and state of the art technology provides durability, comfort and function to accommodate modern living.
The 'Architect Series' conversion includes laminate walnut flooring, refinished interior aluminum, stained wood partitions,
and two insulated sky viewing dome panels. Lacquered European cabinets, convection oven unit, stainless gas cooktop, Jen
style double sink features custom faucet and separate instant hot water dispenser. An electric fireplace adds not only
eclectic and visual appeal but provides a forced air/heating feature.
The seating and bedding are suede textured six
foot plus sofas by Serta, which not only provide storage below but open into double beds allowing walking space while
folded up. Wall mounted storage units double as a headboard with shelf and allow computer, books, or linens to be stored
away from sight. Original Airstream wall cabinet is finished with aluminum and provides a 110V AC duplex outlet and a 12V
DC plug for music system iphone/ipod station.
Custom lighting throughout allows optimal light as well as a dimmed option.
The dressing, seating/sleeping area also views the night filled sky. The bath area was increased and features refinished
original tub and new trim valves. New porcelain water closet is installed out of view, allowing the salon's spacious area
to be accessed by a large opening with a bi-fold door. Plumbing is installed with service accessibility and allows
multi-connection options. Mechanical items include a new roof mounted low profile AC unit with heat element and a new
Fantastic fan in living area. New electrical wiring is 'zoned' for today and new technologies to come. All new circuit
breaker box and electrical wiring. Two new batteries feed two 2000W power inverters. New never used black and gray water
holding tanks. Two new Inland RV Dura-Torque complete axle & brake assemblies. New A-Frame coupler, two new 30lb propane
tanks, new propane regulator, new Airstream propane cover.
