1984 London-Aire Duke 27' Class C Motorhome
It is used, but in relatively good condition considering its age. There are dents here or
there and small cosmetic imperfections, but all the hardware is there and it's actually
pretty nice, outside and in. It was bought and then sat largely unused for the past five
years. It has an air conditioning unit that worked when it was purchased, as well as an
excellent little electric generator that used to run nicely--but since it hasn't been used
recently, it would take some minor tinkering to get going again. As for the vehicle itself,
the body has 99,503 miles on it, but the engine is thought to be a factory rebuild with
approximately 15,000 miles on it. It's a Chevy 350 (5.7 liter gas engine), and the
transmission is believed to be a standard 3 speed automatic. It starts, runs, and goes down
the road very nicely. For someone with a little mechanical knowledge, this would make a great
hunting camper/road trip vehicle. It gets approximately 11 miles per gallon.
The London-Aire line was manufactured by Newmar Corporation. Newmar has also made high-end
motorhomes with the London-Aire brand.
